Registration for both camps is now closed. If you want to place your child on a Wait List for Full Day Camp, please register them online. If you are willing to be a counselor, and your application is approved, your child will get in camp. We do not have a wait list for Half Day Camp.

For the last 18 years, the Summer Hummer Day Camp has been one of the highlights on the calendar of Westwood Baptist Church. We have seen hundreds of children commit their lives to Jesus Christ through this ministry. Our goal has been to show children the meaning of life while they are having the time of their life! For this reason, we make every effort to dream up better ideas for a greater camp experience without compromising the message that everyone needs a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Lads are back!
This music group is a rock band for kids and families. “Our aim is to reach and teach this new generation about God using music, live concerts, videos, curriculum and even a TV show.”  In 2005, The Lads relocated to Nashville, TN.  Soon after they arrived, they felt like God was directing them to change the focus of their ministry toward kids (especially pre-teens) and their families. Initially they were skeptical as they loved what they were doing, but they followed God’s leading and found themselves leading worship at a Vacation Bible School in Texas. They loved it and have been touring and serving families ever since.

The Lads will be at Summer Hummer all week long and performing a concert for the Full Day Camp on Friday afternoon. Check out their website at www.theladsband.com!
